PA/Office Manager (Sales Environment)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an exciting start up recruitment consultancy based in The City as a PA/Office Manager to provided full secretarial administrative support to one of the Directors and their team of consultants. Although only recently established they have grown at a rapid pace and this is a very exciting time to join the business. This is a varied role with the opportunity to take of further responsibilities and projects as the business continues to grow.

Job Specification

  • Day to day management of the office

  • Input own office support functions and processes
  • Managing relationships with external providers such as Accountants, Factoring company, Office etc

  • Overseeing the temporary candidate payroll.

    • Validating timesheets, chasing timesheets and limited company invoices, approving payroll reports on a weekly basis and dealing with any queries.

  • Overseeing all purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.

  • Managing all IT issues, setting up of new starters etc

  • Review and management of terms and conditions and keeping up to date with legislation

  • Reviewing and developing internal processes around accounting, CRM management

  • Maintaining all HR records - holidays, personal information, Sending new starter contracts and looking after staff holiday requests

  • Managing any office moves related to IT and other related administrative duties

  • Managing company social media platforms and promoting content; Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc

  • Managing marketing drives - salary surveys, round table events, mailshotsetc.

  • Booking client and company events.

  • PA duties to one founding partner.


  • 2/3 years Office Management/PA/TA experience

  • Someone who can take control and push back on the consultants

  • Ideally someone who has worked within a recruitment or sales environment but will consider other sectors for a superstar

  • Is familiar with a CRM system (they use Bull Horn) and any accountancy software (egXERO or Sage)

  • There is a real opportunity to make this role their own and take on additional projects in a very varied role.
