We are looking for a customer-focused individual with excellent organisational skills to join our team as a PA and Office Administrator at Duck Plumbing & Heating Ltd, near Newmarket.
As PA and Office Administrator you will work very closely with the Company Director to manage the running of our Suffolk Division. Responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling jobs & quotes
- Managing the Director’s diary
- Dealing with customer queries over the telephone and by email
- Ordering materials
- Arranging meetings & minute taking
- Setting up engineer rotas
- Recording holidays & appraisal notes
This is a very busy, independent role so you need to have excellent organisation skills, be able to prioritise and multi-task effectively. You will be a customer-focused & resilient individual with first-class communication skills. We experience high volumes of telephone calls so you need to have a calm, friendly and polite manner and be able to switch between tasks competently. You also need to have strong IT skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Word & Excel; We have our own customer database & job scheduling software for which training will be provided.
We are a small, busy office administration team working closely with circa 16 engineers who operate across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Central London.
This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday. Flexibility on hours could be considered for the right candidate. There may be a requirement to handle out of hours call-outs for the Suffolk division, so we may require some flexibility from you.
