Would you like to work in a small, friendly organisation and support the two company founders in running the business? You will be working closely with the company founders to manage the business administration of a small and vibrant conference business. No two days will be the same! It is essential that you work well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment. A 'can do' attitude will be required at all times, as well as the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment and to jump in and help out where needed.
Responsibilities may include:
-Business administration and general department management
-Conference-related tasks, for example sourcing new venues, topic related research, ordering materials for the conferences or office
-Help with recruitment drives and HR-related administrative tasks
-Managing some of the IT administration and troubleshooting
-Managing interns and funding
-Ad hoc research projects and bookings analysis
-Some invoicing and banking administration
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
-Strong administrative, planning, time management and organisational skills
-Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written
-Willing, helpful and proactive approach
-High attention to detail
-Ability to proof read and format documents
-Extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages
-A strong academic background with fluent written and verbal English
