We are the independent regulator for pharmacy in Great Britain. It’s our remit to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of people who use pharmacy services, by upholding standards and maintaining public trust in these services in England, Scotland and Wales.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled PA to support the Director of Insight, Intelligence and Inspection. This role will be key to managing the effective running of the Director’s office as well as coordinating and orchestrating projects or commitments directly involving the Director and their direct reports.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Director on all aspects of their work with a complete understanding of the Director’s workload and its complexity.
- Providing administrative services and expertise to improve the management of the Directorate in developing effective systems and taking a proactive approach to the smooth running of the directorate.
- Undertaking projects
- Developing and drafting communications on behalf of the Director and conducting any research that may be required
- Carrying out any other duties that the Director consider appropriate for the smooth running of the Directorate.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience administrative experience and be able to multitask. You must have the ability to build strong relationships with all staff members, including senior management and to understand confidentiality. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
