We are looking for a Yield Executive to join our overseas team in Palma whilst supporting the commercial aspect of our UK based business.
As part of the commercial division, the Yield Executive will assist with resort commercial yield targets, maximising saleability of resorts ensuring key units remain on sale through negotiation of releases, stop sales and additional bed stock. You will be required to liaise with various departments ensuring utilisation of committed bed stock and deliverance of financial commitments. You will complete end to end set up and close down, challenging and embracing new amends process and managing no shows to maximise cost saving and profit.
Good communication and decision making skills are key while negotiating with suppliers in order to improve the customer’s experience whilst maintaining business targets. Efficiency and process management are also key to this role.

This position will be based in our Palma office and will be offered on a local contract. The team work on a roster basis to cover Saturdays and local public holidays so flexibility is required.
What you will be doing
As a Yield Executive you will be required to complete season start up. Provide additional support to suppliers through occupancy reporting along with training on Destimo (TUI UK on line reservation system) to ensure all bookings are accepted within contractual release. Daily support for resort teams, mailbox management and requests for adapted rooms.
You will negotiate stop sales and releases in order to create maximum value for the business. Minimise overbookings and ensure that contractual agreements with our suppliers are honoured, and any impact to our customers is kept to a minimum as we endeavor to be the preferred tour operator.
Pro-actively review beds to seats and company targets along with financial reporting to ensure that we have the most sellable beds on sale in order to maximise our performance and profitability whilst differentiating our business against our competitors.
You will ensure audit procedures are adhered to for hotel switches and local lets.
Manage interim manual amends process through season and identify potential for improvement and proactively approach cancelled or customer no shows to deliver revenue savings.
Developing relationships with internal and external customers is key in order to optimise the customer journey and support our company values in promoting sustainability.
What we are looking for
- Organised, accurate, methodical with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to make decisions and assess situations to determine importance, urgency and risk in a timely manner to deliver cost savings
- PC literate
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Minimum 5 GCSE’S grade C or above including English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Proven experience/knowledge of working with customers and commercial understanding
- Experience of working in a pressurised environment
