Overhead Crane Engineer - Sheffield

Alecto Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Engineer based in Sheffield.

Our client are a leading National Crane company who Install, Service, Repair, Test and Inspect a range of cranes, predominantly Overhead Cranes, however they offer their services to a wide range of Lifting equipment.

The Position:

  • You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric Overhead Cranes, Electric Hoists, Swing Jibs, Loose Tackle items
  • Trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions.
  • Carry out LOLER Inspections
  • Consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues.
  • Generating sales leads during service call.
  • Completing appropriate documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experienced engineer with Mechanical/Electrical skills
  • Ideally have an ONC/HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • LEEA Qualifications desired
  • Willingness to work extra hours
  • You must be physically fit and able to work at heights
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Package:

  • £30,000-35,000
  • 25 Days holiday
  • Over time available
  • Company Vehicle
  • Pension Scheme
  • Product Training when required
