Orthpaedic Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking motivated individuals who share our mission to be “outstanding for our patients, our communities and each other” and welcome applications from Operating Department Practitioners and RGN’s with a relevant accredited anaesthetic qualification for Anaesthetic/Recovery and Scrub/Anaesthetic roles.

Our purpose built elective Orthopaedic service is centrally based in Runcorn Cheshire and is only 30 minutes’ drive from Manchester Liverpool and Chester via excellent motorway links (M6, M56 and M62). This provides the opportunity to visit the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, the Peak and Lake Districts and the stunning Coastal regions of North Wales and Lancashire.

We have clean air theatres over 2 sites and perform a wide range of

orthopaedic surgery including:

• Specialist sports injury
• Complex hip, knee and shoulder procedures
• Foot & ankle
• Trauma
• Joint revision surgery
• Urology
• ENT
• Breast

Recently as an exciting development, we have also expanded our repertoire and now provide an elective surgical provision for Breast, ENT and Urology specialities on the CMTC site.

We currently work Monday to Friday and do not presently support an on-call or weekend service which allows our team to enjoy an ideal work-life balance.
