Job Location: Wallisdown, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 DOE + free onsite parking

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm

We are currently working with a leading supplier of special occasion products who have been locally established for over 60 years and are currently recruiting for an Order Processor to join their friendly, hardworking and busy team at their offices-based Wallisdown.

This is a really exciting opportunity to work with and represent a well-established company where you will be responsible for providing first class customer service and accurately processing orders from start to finish.

This role requires someone who has an excellent eye for detail as the main focus of your role will be on the accurate data input and processing customer orders. You be tasked with ensuring that that all orders are processed correctly onto the in-house database, making any changes to the orders and advising customers of stock, prices and delivery, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

Due to ongoing success the company have recently launched an e-commerce site so you will be responsible for looking after e-commerce customers as well as key account customers.

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor some of your duties will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service via telephone & email.
  • Promptly responding to customer enquiries regarding orders, product information and stock in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Proactively ensuring specific customers’ requirements are understood, fulfilled and communicated across the business.
  • Answering ecommerce, telephone and email queries as well as processing customer information requests
  • Accurately processing orders whilst keeping customers up to date with progress.
  • Tracking deliveries and updating customers of any delays or amendments.
  • Handling and resolving complaints in a professional manner always offering the customer a suitable solution.
  • Record all communication with customers on the databases and communicate important issues or requests directly to the relevant sales rep

  • Previous experience within a Customer Service position
  • A self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic approach to work and providing excellent customer service.
  • The ability to be an excellent team player who can also work alone using their own initiative.
  • The ability to prioritise and work under pressure in fast paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good PC skills - knowledge of Microsoft programmes including Excel
