Order Delivery Manager

Capita is looking for an Order Delivery Manager, to be based at Updata in Reigate.

About the role

Based in Reigate this role is required to join the Provisioning Team to lead and develop the Order Management Team who play a critical role in ensuring that we capture customer requirements, right first time at the point of order entry, to enable on time delivery. In additional this team ensures that our internal and external customers remain informed on the progress of their order throughout and billing is activated post order fulfilment.

What you will do:

  • Accountable for the performance of the Order Management process within a defined set of Service Levels including

    • The timely raising of clean order requests into the relevant systems so that the provisioning teams are able to deliver the services to the customer on time

    • The timely submission of orders to carriers right the first time

    • Billing readiness and billing activation post order fulfilment

  • Drive a decrease in the order rejection rate via the education of order submitters to provide mandated information requirements to

  • Setting customer expectation, at the point of order entry, on our Target Lead Times and what they can expect from our Provisioning Process

  • Regularly updating our internal and external customers on the progress of their order

  • Resolve issues associated with orders in jeopardy to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time

  • Build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships gaining a wide range of knowledge across the product catalogue, order systems and processes

  • Accountable for the development and management of the Order Management Team

  • Reporting on process performance on a regular basis

  • Creation and implementation of plans to continually improve performance and improve Customer Satisfaction

Your experience will include:

  • Highly effective customer service skills to build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Excellent attention to detail with data entry, billing and order processing experience

  • Proficient in IT technology with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ideally you'll have a good knowledge of order processing systems, or have the ability to learn and adapt to systems and processes.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.

Demonstrate ability to work against daily deadlines with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload
