Oracle Database Developer

Caspian One require an experienced Oracle and Database developer to work on site within a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in the city - this is stand out opportunity to permanently join a very highly regarded IT team within the credit risk analytics space.

Please note - In order to be considered for this role you will need to be available on Tuesday 20th March for an assessment day - this will either be a morning or afternoon session - if you are not available you will not be considered.

The Role:

You will take responsibility for the design and build of new strategic data sourcing components, working directly within risk analytics (credit risk IT).Your work will span Trade Data, Market Data and Reference Data, working with a trading portfolio covering a number of Derivative products.

You will also produce all the automation and integration required to use Oracle Enterprise Manager (12c) to power the entire Oracle estate of databases, with a strong emphasis on database security and automation. You will take shared ownership of the implementation project and have responsibility for PL/SQL performance tuning.

The role is working within the counterparty and treasury IT function, whom manage the build out and support of the CVA, Counterparty Credit Risk and other specific risk systems.

Essential Requirements:

Physical and Logical database design expertise with excellent Oracle database development skills

In depth knowledge with SQL Tuning and PL/SQL development

Experience working within an Agile team/environment, using test driven development and other similar practices.

C# development experience is highly advantageous

TeamCity Integration experience and experience with GIT.

Excellent written communication and outstanding overall communication skills.
