Want to be part of a company who are on a mission to make a difference?
They are striving to ensure clean, sustainable energy for the future and are doing a cracking job too. With multiple sites in the UK and across Europe, put simply, they are massive; so the impact you can make here won’t just be limited to the UK.
You’ll joining a stable team of 30+ (with a core shift team of 3) at a newly acquired CCGT power plant in King's Lynn, so living within a commutable distance makes sense. You will often be working unsupervised conducting proactive operations and maintenance tasks across the entirety of the plant.
This is a technical role with a long list of required competencies (which given what you do, you will know). However, there is a desire by the team to upskill employees in areas where they may need it – so do not worry if you are not the finished article just yet.
At times, this job will be quite intense and you will need the ability to take responsibility for an ever changing process environment, and also during reactive periods able to dynamically think and assess unique situations, ensuring the right safe and commercial decisions are made.
You will be working on a shift pattern of morning, day and night – split over 6 weeks and coming with just over £10,000 a year for a shift allowance.
A salary of £40,000 - £50,000, a good amount of ‘you’ time with the 25 holiday days on top of your 8 bank holidays, with a 10% bonus, which is driven by your own performance, continued personal development opportunities, pension and healthcare.
Let’s have a chat.
You can send me a connection and a message on LinkedIn (Will Grashoff), or you can send me your CV through the portal if you’ve got one (I know not everyone does). If you’re a talker, my number is on our website.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail, if you feel necessary.
