Operations Team Leader - Industrial Cleaning

Package: to c£35K basic plus company vehicle, bonus, and benefits

In this new position with a market leading environmental services company, you will be responsible for leading a team carrying out industrial services projects on customer sites across the South East. Typical services include high-pressure jetting, tank cleaning, site decontamination and liquid waste removal and disposal.

As well as the hands-on supervision of projects, you will be involved in liaising with customers, scoping potential works and the completion of risk assessments and method statements.

The Person

  • Experience in Industrial Services, Industrial Cleaning/Decontamination or a closely related field is essential
  • Proven ability to lead/manage a team of operatives,
  • Flexible, hands-on approach, prepared to lead by example
  • Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Conversant with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good numeracy skills

In-company training will be provided in areas such as Health and Safety, First Aid, Confined Space Entry to C&G High Risk (Rescue), Water Jetting, Pollution Control and Asbestos as required.
