This family owned 3PL business is seeking an Operations Manager to join their highly profitable business due to continued growth.
Your new role
Within the Operations Manager job, you will be holding a regional role, supporting between 3 and 6 sites whilst they implement new systems and win new contracts. You will be leading a team of around 80 people indirectly and directly around 5 people at any time. You will be aiding the General Managers in the contract management and fulfilment ensuring that all products are delivered on time and in full. You will also be expected to lead the Warehousing and Transportation teams through significant change.
What you'll need to succeed
Having gained the experience of managing teams upwards of 80 people indirectly within a Warehousing and Distribution capacity you will be considered for this Operations Support Manager vacancy. You must have gained the experience of leading under performing teams through a period of transition. In addition to this, you will have gained the experience of working with warehouse management systems and have gained the experience of leading teams through change. It would be highly beneficial to have gained a CPC qualification to support your application for the Operations Manager job. You must have a 60% Warehouse and 40% Transport bias.
