This key position within the Secondary Operations Team is responsible for scheduling the daily workload and monitor performance of a fleet of Technicians, delivering medical equipment to around 40,000 patients across several regions of the UK.
Due to working with vulnerable people, a fully enhanced DBS is required prior to commencement of this post.
1. Schedule and dispatch all jobs using a route optimisation software
2. Ensure the validity of the route optimisation software by updating the planning parameters in accordance with the reality of the field reported by the Senior Technicians
3.Ensure all jobs are scheduled, issued and completed on time in accordance with service level agreements
4.Develop optimal and achievable task schedules and route plans for Technicians on a daily basis with a target to achieve optimised productivity and ensure maximum efficiency
5.Consistently check the status of 4-hour emergencies, allocate and monitor them through to completion and ensure they are all addressed and completed within 4 hours after the initial call
6.Support Secondary Operations Management with the deployment of the resources (technicians, vehicles, stock)
7.Ensure workload is balanced between Technicians
8.Maintain data integrity
9.Take an active role in the continuous improvement process
10. Maintain the reputation of our client with Patients, Healthcare Professionals and the Public
11.Assist with development and preparation of status/ progress reports, summaries and updates for management
10.Troubleshoot data/ reporting errors and identify specific problems

1.Schedule routes in the most efficient way in terms of mileage and working time without compromising quality of service provision
2.Driving cost optimisation, searching for new ideas and opportunities to reduce the overall cost of service provision without compromising quality of service provision
1. Daily communication with Secondary Operations Management to maintain accuracy of the data in the routing software
2. Allocation of 4-hour emergencies and same-day jobs to Technicians
3.Ensure all routes are completed by Technicians following the plan and report to Secondary Operations Management
4.When stock availability is an issue, assist Secondary Operations Management with re-allocating jobs between technicians
5.Escalation to Senior Management at point of critical mass
1. Demonstrate compliance with department.
2.Demonstrate compliance with the ISO2701 standard
3.Demonstrate compliance with legal and company requirements in terms of Health and Safety.
4.Adopt and enforce all company SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
5.Ensure service level is compliant with the KPI requirements
