This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading public service provider within the North East. The role will be to lead operation projects to improve quality, people commercial performance of care homes ensuring that projects are successfully delivered to quality, time and budget
Your role will involve:
Managing concurrent projects across a number of care homes to improve the performance of individual homes
To work closely with operational leadership to identify areas for improvement and for appropriate actions to be planned, prioritised and delivered as part of operational projects
To create robust, SMART project plans to support the delivery of operational projects
Manage projects in-line with the companies internal project management methodology
To ensure projects are closely monitored and that key stakeholders are regularly informed of progress and issues so appropriate action can be taken
To provide a link between operational and central support teams so that central support teams are aligned to support the delivery of operational projects
Manage change effectively ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and informed and delivering to plan
Develop and strengthen relationships across all areas of the business
Communicate project priorities, monitor and escalation of unresolved issues
Closely manage project risks with appropriate mitigation plans in place
Lead project activities across a wide range of business functions, providing hands-on support to achieve project deliverables
Create and disseminate detailed and timely communications plans to ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed
Develop and maintain implicit project controls to ensure successful delivery to time, budget and quality
You will be expected to travel in the role and it will involve staying overnight 2-3 times each week.
Salary: Upto £40,000 plus £4,000 car allowance and fantastic benefits.
