MAG45 achieves substantial savings for our customers in the key areas of product costs, logistics, and processes.
MAG45 was established in 1946 and now has a global presence of 16 offices across 10 countries in Europe, America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Since 2016, the company is an independent subsidiary of the Danish listed Solar Group. There are more than 100 employees working in the head office in Eindhoven and from there we are growing worldwide. Due to our expansion to the European market, we are in need of 2 Operations Officer in Birmingham.
The Operations Officer mainly combines the functions of sales support through order processing activities (includes value added services such as replenishing goods of the MAG45 hub and preparing maintenance kits for customers), supporting inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and execution of other operational warehouse activities.
The Operations officer effectively and efficiently processes sales and purchase orders and is responsible for warehouse transactions. You are (end) responsible for the operational performance and improvement of the delivery process.
The Operations Officer ensures on time deliveries to customers or to other MAG 45 hubs worldwide in line with operational KPI’s and conforms to the set targets. Translating internal performance measurements to external reports for customers and suppliers is something that you do on a regular basis.
You will work at the MAG45 hub/office in Birmingham and service its clients. You report to the Managing Director in the UK. The MAG45 team in the UK starts off as a small team, but will grow in the future as it acquires more clients.
Our ideal candidate is somebody who has experience in working for an international business-to-business (B2B) workplace. He/she has good organizing skills especially when it comes to keeping the warehouse tidy and orderly. Physical work is not a problem and applying a hands-on attitude is something that comes easily. Aside from this, we are looking for the person who best matches this profile:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in a logistics/administrative environment
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems is preferable
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Affinity with technical environments
- A valid forklift license would be a bonus
- Results oriented in a fast-paced working environment
- Available fulltime and lives in Birmingham or any city near this
In this position, you are able to contribute a huge impact by being end-to-end responsible for the full operation of the hub/MAG45 office as your direct colleagues are part-time out of the office. Thus, the chance for autonomy is of great extent as you represent the hub independently to the internal MAG45 organization, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. When required, support from the Team Lead Back Office or Supply Chain Manager in the Netherlands are also available.
