Operations Manager: An experienced Operations Manager is required to ensure that the company's operational processes are as well organised as possible, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of the internal stakeholder and clients.

Managing the post sales teams and acting as the conduit between pre and post sales processes, this will involve monitoring and analysing the current production system, touchpoints between Operations and Sales and ensuring a continual process improvement strategy.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will join a leading UK manufacturer of Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) medical storage cabinets, trolleys and shelving components for the healthcare environment. The company is ISO9001 accredited and provides products that conform to and exceed HTM and HBN (Health Building Notes) standards for the healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
*Act as a leader, manager, coach and mentor to the production, warehouse, installations and delivery teams, listen to feedback and support high performance
*Act as the link between the Sales and the Warehouse production teams to ensure best practice, maximum effectiveness and to address any issues and implement improvements
*Manage the installations process, monitor and allocate resource as appropriate
*Monitor the Operations scorecard, analyse a number of data sources to benchmark and review operational effectiveness, highlight any issues and seek solutions
*Oversight of QA process and the development of production processes to address any issues of non-compliance
*With a focus on lean manufacturing methods, review the warehouse production facility to ensure maximum space usage
*Oversee the installations process for large orders to ensure that the customer's needs are met
*Work with the Production Manager to ensure effective current use of resource in the warehouse facility and future planning on space / resource to meet production needs
*Supply chain management to ensure efficient processes are in place and cost-effective procurement of supplies
*As part of the Senior Management team work with colleagues on strategy and target achievement
*Work with the Production Manager to ensure effective workforce planning operations teams
*Ensure effective dispatch procedures and timely deliveries are in place
*Work with the finance department to ensure correct timely invoicing of delivered work
*Manage direct reports from production, warehouse dispatch/ transport, installations and procurement.

Skills & Experience:
*Manufacturing operations professional
*Experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing process
*Technically able; ERP
*Act as coach and mentor
*Strong internal external stakeholder skills
*Supply chain experience
*Warehouse resourcing and scheduling knowledge
*Project management experience / qualification; e.g. Prince2
