My client is a leading specialist service and maintenance contractor in the UK that provides an extensive programme of maintenance for a wide range of customers that encompass public sector clients. They are now part of a larger group that specialise in mainstream construction. The majority of the work entails overseeing contracts that include property responsive maintenance, upgrades for social housing and local authority properties and Void work.
Having secured a number of contracts, this established contractor, seeks an ambitious and experienced Operations Manager to join their team and deal with contract mobilisation covering a certain region.
Key Skills required for Operations Manager:
? Social Housing is not essential but desirable, mainly looking for good management skills.
? Ensure the deliveries of the operational projects are within the budget and time scales specified
? Focus on motivation of the workforce to delivery on time and to budget
? Focus on quality, customer service and delivery
? Guaranteeing the profitability of the contracts to include pricing and delivering of extra works
? Client and tenant customer satisfaction
? Process Management
? Management of the customer
? Have an understanding of the financial aspect on multiple contracts
? Customer Liaison skills
? Ability to price work, knowledge of NHF schedule of rates an advantage
The ideal Operations Manager will have previous experience in managing people and knowledge within the Social Housing arena, and will have experience of overseeing multiple contracts and mobilisation.
