A well established family business are looking for an Operational Manager to join their team.
Your new company
Your company is a large provider across the UK in their business and are known locally. They are family run and have a really nice feel to their office and business. They are proud of their work and work hard to upkeep their name and image.
Your new role
Your new role involves you being responsible for the management of the team, ensuring all operations are up kept and the staff communication is maintained.
You will be office based but will be responsible for the staff on the shop floor, therefore it will be require you to use a fraction of project management to ensure a whole process is followed. You will need be required to step up in the absence of the director to be the primary point of contact for staff members.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to:
- Have previous people management experience
- Be confident
- Be effective in your communication skills
- Be a team leader and motivator
- Be comfortable on IT systems and be able to pick up bespoke systems well
- Be organised and efficient
- Have your own initiate so you can step in when required
