Operations Manager

Position Details: We are looking for a keen operations manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily workings of operations. Plans, manages, and implements schedules to ensure deadlines are met, and maintains a high-quality standard of customer service and issue resolution.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements
  • Daily management and development of operations
  • Sales analysis of key accounts
  • Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations
  • Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met
  • Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
  • Manages the stock control, and checks that inventory records are accurate
  • Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines
  • Communicates any changes in the booking to relevant parties
  • Purchases materials and services required for accommodations
  • Follows up on issues immediately and effectively
  • Organises, plans, and implements inventory activity
  • Provides guidance to employees

Skills and experience required

The suitable candidate must have:

  • University degree; a Master degree would be a plus;
  • 1+ year experience of working in operations;
  • 1+ year experience of working in educational establishment environment;
  • Excellent written and communication skills;
  • Ability to cope under pressure and work within deadline; multi-tasking skills; problem-solving skills;
  • Strong research and analytical skills are essential;
  • Microsoft Excel.
