Operations manager Security up to 35k basic plus car and bonus / benefits
We are a well respected Security and FM business with locations UK wide and an enviable client list in both the public and private sector. We are looking for someone to support and manage our operations in the north managing a number of man guarding and security solutions contracts.
Security experience at senior level and excellent people skills. Knowledge of industry sectors ACS, SIA and BS standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to communicate clearly in face to face situations, with managers, clients and staff. Good IT skills.
Capable of planning and implementing actions to resolve operational problems.
Being able to assist the operations director in dealing with more complex problems and providing solutions.
Ability to develop an effective day to day working relationship with the clients and staff to ensure service delivery
Personal presentation to a high standard at all times.
Able to carry out detailed audits, place orders, and control stock.
Priorities monitoring quality standards as a key issue. Capable of identifying and implementing quality improvement.
Ensure that the contracts managers carry out his/her duties to the highest of standards and monitor their activities.
To ensure that the scheduling of all rosters/sickness and extra hrs.
Carry out regular meeting with client’s site based staff.
Respond to any client projects or complaints.
Maintain information held in Assignment Instructions and other site based documents.
Monitor all training to ensure we have adequate staff trained in all areas.
Ensure that all Site surveys and risk assessments are completed.
Assist BDMs when required.
