Global Insurance / FinTech Company currently seeks an Operations Manager to lead a small team of analysts in the engagement and management of external clients utilising the various services provided by the company.
The organisation is a technology provide operating within the insurance market and offers an unrivalled insurance rules engine which is utilised within the life insurance and protection markets along with a comparison brokerage platform. Client of the company include both underwriter and brokers and you will lead a team in the management of these relationships from an operational perspective.
The Operations Manager will manage and monitor contracts with external clients (underwriters and brokers), work in a client facing capacity as a point of contact and also liaise with internal business units (such as finance) to ensure delivery of service to clients is met as per individual contract specifications agreed. This will include monitoring of KPIs and reporting against contract, risk and compliance management and also report to senior internal management and ultimately ensuring data submissions from clients as agreed.
Additional work will include the triage of issues and liaison with internal units to resolve major issues escalated from the team. You will also assist with the onboarding of new clients from a strategic and contractual management perspective and conduct periodic service reviews as required.
A large element of this work is around the regulatory compliance pieve and therefore a full understanding of the issue surrounding the life and protection markets will be required. As a manager of a small team there will be day-to-day operational management duties to ensure effective operation of the department.
We are searching for an Operations Manager who is working in a similar capacity for either an Insurance Company, Reinsurance Company, Underwriter, Insurance Broker or similar technology company operating within the Insurance mark place. You will possess both team and client management experience and abilities, be fully versed in regulatory compliance procedures surrounding the Life Insurance and Protection market and be able to apply this within a Global environment. UK/European experience is sufficient although this is a global company. You will have previous experience of reporting KPIs against contract and be comfortable engaging senior level stakeholders both inside the company any externally. A background in Business Analysis and/or technological awareness within the Insurance Market would be extremely beneficial although non-essential. Excellent communication skills are pre-requisite.
