Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for a team which includes a Quality Technician, Stock Controller, Transport Manager, Shift Team Leader, 2 Warehouse Operatives and 9 Drivers that runs from Sunday to Friday.
Through effective management, you will balance the challenges of meeting customer needs with optimizing operational effectiveness and the role will have responsibility for all site operational activities which will include:
·Health & Safety
·Training of Staff
You will lead both internal and external projects, driving process improvement initiatives and acting as the main point of contact for day to day output optimisation.
Candidates must possess highly effective organisational and interpersonal skills, aligned with strong leadership, co-ordination, man management and a proven aptitude for driving continual improvements in Quality assurance and lean processes.
·Experience in Food Production
·A strong character with proven leadership skills
·Knowledge of operations, service, quality, environmental and health & safety systems
·Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to motivate people as a proactive leader and team player with a drive to succeed
·Able to work in a fast pace environment (FMCG)
·Strong commercial awareness and business acumen with proven leadership in a process-driven production environment
