Operations Director - Grounds Maintenance

Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, a key member of the senior management team having overall accountability for the operational region or remit; including sales and revenue generation, resources, finances and health & safety. Responsible for driving the strategic business plan and ensuring its success in own remit and in liaison with support functions and peers.

Knowledge and Skils:

Highly experienced senior operational manager with at least 3 years experience at director level

 Experience of managing operations over a wide geographical area and in excess of £5million sales pa

 Proven track record of successfully managing large budgets and overseeing a number of direct reports

 Specific proven track record of winning, implementing and maintaining new contracts/projects

 First class motivational and management skills

 Strong relationship building skills

 High level of numeracy and financial awareness

 Highly proficient in IT (Word, Excel in particular)


 A fast paced and proactive individual capable of driving performance in the region / business area

 Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm

 A professional and approachable personality

 Confident communicator
