Operations & Business Development Manager

We are looking for an Operations & Business Development Manager living close to the Crewe area of Cheshire, for a new and exciting community care service. This job would be commutable from Manchester, Warrington, Winsford, Nantwich, Northwich, Chester, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle Under Lyme and surrounding areas.

£55K per annum, plus mileage allowance & Pension Scheme

You would be working for a leading provider of Housing and Care Services, with services across England. The ethos of the organisation is to ensure that everything they do enhances the quality of life for the people they support. To do this they look to recruit the very best people from the Care Sector to deliver outstanding care. With the opening and development of a Community Homecare Service in Crewe we are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager, to support the Registered Manager, to help grow and develop this service in the local community.

Your role will be to lead on business development and growth of this new service, supporting the Registered Manager to maximise on new opportunities.

  • Implementing successful marketing and sales strategies to attract private clients.
  • Managing and maintaining budgets.
  • Establish professional relationships with outside agencies, partners and local authorities.
  • Holding open days and promoting the organisation within the local community.
  • Ensure that services comply with all relevant contractual and regulatory policies.

You will be able to demonstrate successful marketing and sales experience, as well as Operational Management, within the Care Sector, with strong effective leadership skills. You will have a relevant professional qualification in Health & Social Care, QCF Level 5 or equivalent.
