The Office Support division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant for a company based in the Melton Mowbray area on an ongoing temporary basis with the potential to go permanent for the right person.
As an Operations Assistant you will:
- Report into the Supply Chain Manager and perform a multi-functional, fast paced role
- Offer additional support to and administration duties within the Operations Department
Key Duties Include:
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Updating forecasts and planners
- Checking supply documents and providing occasional Invoice checking support
- General administration duties including scanning and filing documents as requested
- Answer the company telephone and forward to the appropriate person or department
- Providing reception cover duties
- Sales order processing support
- Covering courier and postal duties (incoming and outgoing) Record all postage /parcels into the building
The Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organised and efficient with the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft office and office administration duties
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
The role is an immediate start working Monday to Friday office hours and will be starting on a temporary ongoing basis. This role will be paying £9.89 per hour.
