This role will form part of the Operational Support Team and ensure that all applicable tasks relating to customer and internal requirements are met, as reasonably required, inclusive of working within Company values. There will be a need to support the Operational Support Manager as required, as well as ensuring that the operational support functions meet the business needs. You will also implement the full range of related local procedures, including setting up procedures, working instructions and administration manuals.
The role ensures data and documents, produced by the operational support team, are up to date, traceable and compliant with the contractual and/or legislative obligations. All tasks are to be executed in a strictly confidential manner and the business interests considered appropriately.
Previous experience within Office Management advantageous.
Experience within a busy logistics environment/service centre background desirable.
Excellent administration skills and the ability to juggle different items of work at the same time, are essential to perform well in this role.
Good numeracy and literacy skills, alongside the ability to develop professional working relationships at all levels.
A high level of computer literacy, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
Experience with using SAP beneficial.
Google suite experience is preferable but not essential.
A customer services background, with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage priorities without a consequence.
