Operational Trainer - Nottinghamshire - Mansfield - Health & Social Care
£25-28500 per annum + Car + Bens + Pension + Laptop
Our client one of the UK’s leading care and social car providers in the UK are seeking an accomplished trainer to assist in the coordination and delivery of training led by company objectives and training statistics. With nearly 30 years’ experience and more than 200 care homes including independent hospitals they are certainly one of the UK’s foremost care providers.
Understanding of a private hospital is a major advantage to this position, as is MAPA experience. Naturally the role is paramount to delivering an excellent quality of care for their residents and to maintain the safety of their staff. You will act as a DLP Champion for homes in the Nottinghamshire region, promote eLearning, keep up to date with new developments and also assist staff to access and complete their eLearning. This role reports into the Regional Director, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the units in question are meeting their induction and refresher statutory and mandatory training standards, including;
Safeguarding (inc MCA/DoLs), Care Cert completion, Customer Care, Distressed Reaction & Dementia Level 1 - Fire Drills, Manual Handling or Moving Static Loads, Practical and Basic Life Support, / CPR (inc choking), Hospital Specific Training such as Anaphylaxis, Risk Management, Unexpected Death, MAPA & Observation Training / Safe & Therapeutic Obs.
You will be required to hold a Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care or higher or extensive experience working in a social care setting or independent hospital. You will also be expected to plan and publish training calendars to meet regional requirements as well as working under your own initiative whilst communicating effectively.
