Operational Support Officer
Salary £19,615 per annum
Basis: Full Time
Hours: 37 Hours
Work Pattern: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm Friday
A full time opportunity has become available for an Operation Support Officer at Birmingham.
This role is part of the Neighbourhood Services Team but will be specifically responsible for the reception function for the team.
In addition to providing reception duties, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to one or more service delivery teams:
• Respond to a range of customer enquiries and tasks from working on reception and generated by the customer service centre efficiently, positively and politely in accordance with our service standards
• Work as part of a team to support the achievement of its targets and objectives
• Manage conflicting priorities, organising your workload to meet agreed deadlines and through your work identify efficiencies which can benefit customers and the organisation.
You will be expected to deliver excellent services to customers and work to support the teams to achieve targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
To succeed in the role you will need to be IT Literate with the ability to record data in a methodical and accurate manner. You will have excellent communication skills to tackle difficult issues, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have organisational skills with the ability to work without close supervision.
