Required to work across dual sites; HQ - Newburn - Russell House - Hebburn
£26,565 - £35,577 pro rata (AFC Band 6) Plus 25% shift allowance

We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Healthcare Professionals to join North East Ambulance Service working in our multi-disciplinary Operations Centres located at Newburn and Hebburn.
Working within the Integrated Clinical Hub, within the Operations Centre, you will support the delivery of excellent patient care, to our patients accessing the 999 and NHS 111 work streams, via telephone triage.
The Operations Centre is a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Our Clinicians are responsible for providing professional, effective clinical support and instruction to patients and less clinically qualified colleagues.
The role would be suitable for a paramedic or nurse with, current HCPC or NMC registration, triage experience; ideally previous experience in a contact centre environment, such as NHS Direct, or already NHS Pathways trained. In addition to this, commitment to team working, computer literacy and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential requirements for the role.
