An Onsite AV Technician is required for a well known Corporate company, on behalf of a Audio Visual specialist integrator based across the UK. The role is providing onsite AV and VC support to the client at their site in Warrington, Manchester.
You'll be working for an employer who supply the very best and latest Audio Visual solutions, to high end clients and corporate businesses across the UK and Europe too. This particular role will see an engineer have full responsibility for supporting the daily setup and troubleshoot of all Audio Visual and Video Conferencing equipment for one of the biggest banking companies in the UK.
Reporting to the Onsite Delivery Manager, responsibilities include -
To provide client Audio Visual onsite meeting room support and general AV/VC services to the client, to include; system operation, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of electronic communication systems including but not limited to video conferencing, audio visual, projection, pro audio, video, stage lighting and control.
- Responsible for the safe and correct diagnosis of faults, removal, repair, test, implementation and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference, display and presentation technologies in conjunction with other support teams
Installation, operation and servicing of systems in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure minimum down time and maximum performance.
To ensure a prompt, courteous and appropriate response to all customer requests for assistance, support, short timeframe requests and room administration, working to defined service level agreements and within contractual timeframes / frameworks
Be responsible for the general tidiness, cable management, safety and order of the service area and meeting rooms - maintaining the highest in room standards at all time
Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems with both AV, VC, AC and TP systems
To maintain a smart appearance at all times.
To ensure all work is performed to the Company standards and that quality techniques are practiced.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following demonstrable skills:
- Excellent technical understanding of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing equipment
- Previous experience as an onsite AV Technician, or AV engineer for a Corporate customer
- Good knowledge of meeting room setups, live events and possibly small stage production setups
- Flexibility towards overtime to meet the business needs
- Prepared to complete a credit check and 10 background security check
Core working hours of 8:30am - 5pm Mon to Fri
What's on Offer
Basic salary of £27 - £28K per annum
