We are looking for a talented stylist who knows what good looks like. The stylist will successfully make sure the product images on our website are as clear, as detailed and as luxurious as the real products in store.
KNOW THE ROLE
As part of an inspirational team responsible for the styling of our faultless online images, you will oversee the fashion and stills shoots for our website. It’s about combining your sense of style with your brand knowledge to produce top quality images in everything from high street to high fashion to homeware. It’s also about maintaining a smooth running and efficient studio and styling team – creating a positive atmosphere to drive high production levels. So as well as communicating with the planning manager to coordinate schedules, you will brief freelancers support the junior team and adhere to the Selfridges Style Guidelines to ensure consistency of processes and imagery right across the board. We will also look to you to keep on top of the Styling Loans process, recommend changes and make key decisions to improve image processes.
KNOW WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To rise to this stylistic challenge, you’ll need strong creative visual skills, Solid fashion styling experience backed up by wide ranging fashion and brand knowledge. Previous experience in Womenswear & Menswear styling is essential. The Online Senior Stylist will be highly organised, proactive and confident under pressure and will have worked in a high volume, fast paced studio prior to this. Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you’ll have no problem giving and taking direction from stylists, photographers, assistants and mangers at all levels. But just as importantly, you’ll need true passion for the brands you’re working with, the Selfridges name and the retail industry as a whole.
