Purple Rocket Recruitment is working with a client based in Leicester who is looking for an Online Sales Manager due to growth and expansion of the business. The company is an online based company that supplies products to the Self build and small renovation market. As an online sales manager you will be able to assist with general sales office tasks in a customer service role but have an interest in growing both their own personal skill set across an online shop front and growing the in house skills of the business.
- To assist with the day to day running on the online business. A high-level attention to detail is required.
- Taking incoming calls relating to orders / enquiries.
- Processing orders and quotations from calls and or the website.
- Following up on quotations to generate orders.
- Taking / processing cards payments.
- General marketing and maintenance of the company website.
- Mail-shots / e-shots.
- Maintenance of customer database.
- Liaise with Production and Sales departments within the sister company to achieve best results for our direct customer.
- Processing credits and arranging returns if necessary.
- Experience within a sales office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience of Using Sage Package
- Online shop environment experience
- Google Adwords / Analytics experience, SEO Management
- Online marketing tools such as Twitter, Hootsuite, Mailchimp or similar systems
A highly motivated person with experience in a sale office environment and ideally some experience in dealing with online sales or within the construction industry.
Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbally to be able to discuss options with customers and maintain a high level of trust when processing payments and assisting customers when placing orders.
The company are flexible with the hours. Minimum 30 hours to 45 hours per week.
