Online Retail Advisor

An exciting opportunity for candidates with an interest in fashion to join an online retail business, based in Wythenshawe. My client is looking for an Online Retail Advisor, to respond to customer product queries and provide support through multi-channel communication

Client Details

Our client, an e-commerce retailer, stocks well known fashion brands including Ralph Lauren, Converse and many more. They are looking for an Online Retail Advisor to join their growing team.


Duties of the Online Retail Advisor role include:

  • Process telephone orders and capture payment details
  • Answers pre order enquiries
  • Resolves post order enquires and complaints
  • Provides technical assistance to customers placing orders on the website
  • Communicates information about the company's products and services
  • Accurately records reasons for customer contacts
  • Deals with written communication and general administrative duties
  • Actively encourages feedback from customers and provides recommendations for improvement to their CSM


The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Experience in a Customer Service environment preferably within a Contact Centre is essential
  • Minimum 3 GCE's grade A-C equivalent or above including English and Maths or 5 years demonstrable work experience
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to remain calm when dealing with emotional, difficult or distressed people
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Understands the need for confidentiality and compliance with legislation

Job Offer

The salary on offer is £8.50ph

35 hrs per week. 1 day off mid-week and 1 at weekend.

Mon - Thursday 8-8 (shift of 8-4 or 12-8)

Friday 8-6 (shift of 8-4 or 10-6)

Saturday and Sunday 10-6
