Online Mental Health Support Coordinator

Mid & North East Essex MIND is a local, independent charity committed to providing therapeutic support to children, young people and adults across our locality.

We are looking for a positive and self-motivated individual to take responsibility for the day to day running of our Online Mental Health Support Service, Chat with Charlie.This service provides online one to one chat, and chat room provision for University students with mental health needs.

You must have proven experience of working with people with mental illness, demonstrable experience of coordinating and managing a team and experience of managing safeguarding concerns.

You will have the ability to plan, manage and prioritise your own workload and you will be skilled in supporting staff and providing Supervision. Demonstrating empathy and sensitivity are key skills for this position and you will be a good listener and have a non-judgemental attitude.

You will attend and participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the Service and Organisation
