Customer Service Advisor - Digital Bath to £23k p.a. depending on experience

Online customer service advisor for exciting new market-disrupting, consumer-focused digital energy company in Bath


As an Online Advisor, you will provide customer service across digital channels ( including social media / email ), acting as single point of contact for questions, guiding customers on how to self-serve and "owning" issues through to a positive resolution. You'll be working with a small team of digital advisers and operations specialists as well as cross-functionally with other teams, specifically marketing. Duties include:

  • dealing with customer enquiries via digital channels
  • assessing customer feedback to improve service
  • handling issues and customer complaints as they arise
  • communicating in writing to a full range of customer enquiries
  • directing customers to relevant online support or seeking technical guidance if required
  • maintaining comprehensive knowledge of company product/services

As an Online Advisor, you will be excited to join the business during this early start-up phase - lots of exciting developments are planned and, while essentially an online customer service focus and ability is required, the role(s) may evolve into other areas. You will have the opportunity to help develop the company's service proposition with your commitment to high quality service and a natural sense of curiosity. Training will be provided, but you will bring:

  • flexibility in approach, minimal supervision, ability to multi-task
  • experience of working in a customer service environment
  • knowledge of digital channels to communicate and provide service to customers
  • knowledge of business, social media, content management, blogs
  • excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
