One Week Voluntary Placement in SEN
Are you looking to further your career into SEND? Do you want to work in SEND but need more experience?
Are you a graduate? Are you a
carer? Are you a teaching assistant or support worker looking for a new
opportunity?
If so, Empowering Learning Ltd are
recruiting individuals who are keen to move their career into SEND but require
more experience to secure the right role. We are conducting a voluntary program
for schools and candidates where a candidate can spend one week in a school on
a voluntary basis in a SEND setting. At the end of that week, the school will
provide a reference which indicates progress and experience within SEND that
will help you with future positions in the field. It will also give you the
experience and knowledge of what sector of SEND you want to specialize in; and
more than often if the school is happy with your work, they may keep you on for
a paid position or request you back at some point!
This scheme is a great way to get
your foot in the door with schools and to also give you the experience you need
to pursue your career in SEND.
I currently have a school in
Bexley who are keen to find some dedicated and hardworking volunteers to come
in for a week and support either the ASD unit or the Speech and Language Unit.
The volunteers will be taken into consideration for the upcoming support
vacancies in the SEND departments.
In addition to this, when working with Empowering
Learning Ltd you will benefit from:
- Dedicated consultant committed to finding the right role and setting for you
- Competitive rates of pay, depending on experience £68-£80 a day
- A fast clearance process, most of which can be accessed online
- Gain in experience and opportunities offered
Empowering Learning Ltd is a committed Equal Opportunities Employer and therefore will not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation. Please note that successful applicants will be asked to apply for an enhanced DBS check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
