Office Manager

We are an Oxfordshire firm of Independent Financial Advisors. We have a vacancy for someone to join us as an Office Manager. This role will report to our team of Directors and will oversee the day to day management of the office, including the performance and development of the staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of office and approx. 20 employees of varying levels of experience within the business

  • Implementation and ongoing support of client management system

  • Management of general HR duties to include holiday, sickness and future recruitment with support from Compliance Director

  • Creation and management of induction programmes for new staff members

  • Creation and management of development programmes for existing staff members

  • 1:1 staff meetings and formal reviews

  • In conjunction with departmental managers, identification and implementation of process improvements

  • Working with Directors to implement change/future business planning needs

  • Support staff, answering queries and giving guidance where required

  • Liaise with third party suppliers and contracts

    Key skills required:

  • Proven people management experience essential

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Can do attitude and drive to succeed

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels

  • Reliable with discretion regarding confidential matters

  • Ability to use initiative and work independently

  • Passion for problem solving and improving processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft office
