Office Manager

Our client, a highly successful boutique law firm headquartered in the US, is looking to recruit a new Office Manager for their London office. Reporting into the Director of Operations in the US, the Office Manager will work with all levels of management and staff to ensure the smooth running of the office. The Office Manager's responsibilities will be diverse, including:

  • Managing all office services, including vendor relationships, coordinating with building management, and addressing maintenance issues
  • Managing the administrative team - recruitment, inductions, training & development, performance reviews
  • Developing practices to maximise efficiencies, and identifying where policies and procedures should be implemented or amended
  • Liaising with Immigration Counsel regarding visas and immigration
  • Preparing and maintaining a local business continuity plan
  • Preparing and managing the local administration budget
  • Providing executive assistance to one London Partner

The ideal candidate for the Office Manager role will have strong experience in an office management role, ideally with some Human Resources experience. Law firm experience is strongly preferred, and a CIPD qualification would be highly beneficial. You must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to plan, organise, and multitask. You will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, within a fast paced environment. Strong MS Office skills are required.
