Office Manager

Mpeople are currently recruiting for a full time Permanent Office Manager to join an established high end national retailer based in central Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an extremely competitive salary, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and free on site parking.

Key duties:

  • Responsible for fielding all sales enquiries from both telephone and email contact
  • Sales order processing and ability to generate quotations from sales enquiries
  • Stock management - organising the purchases of stock and managing the supply line in conjunction with the MD
  • Liaise between clientele and suppliers on a daily basis in a professional and timely manner
  • Working closely with the MD & FD to ensure the smooth running of the accounts system on a day to day basis including inputting sales orders and purchases
  • Ensure customer credit limits are managed in accordance with company policy
  • Liaise between FD and suppliers to work through payment plans and ensure outstanding monies are received in accordance with company policy

Key skills & experience:

  • Ability to work unsupervised in a stand alone role
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
  • You will need to be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written and possess the ability to speak to a wide range of high end consumers and retailers
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of working with stock control systems is preferable
  • Good understanding of accounting functions
