Your new role
Working experience of school administration systems and SIMS is a prerequisite for the role to be considered by the school. You will be part of the administration team, reporting to the Business Manager, working continuously with SIMS to manage pupil data. Most of your work will be based in the school office however you will interact with parents and children alike when required. Stakeholder interaction with governors and other schools is also likely.
What you'll need to succeed
For this school SIMS Officer job in Gloucester, SIMS experience is essential for this job as you will be using this system regularly. You must possess strong ICT skills in programmes other than SIMS, such as the Microsoft Office package, and have previously worked in an education-based environment. You will have first class organisational and administrative skills, as well as a friendly but professional manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Previous school based administration experience is essential and previous experience as an administrator in an SEN is not essential however is highly desirable. System experience: ·
