Office Manager / Executive Assistant - Remote - Digital Marketing Agency

Location: Anywhere

Type: Permanent (Flexible working possible)

Salary guide:£30,000 basic + bonus + healthcare (negotiable)

My client is one of the leading sports digital marketing agencies in the UK and Brazil. Founded in 2014, the company now employs 20+ people across two continents, with revenues growing year-on-year.

They are in growth mode currently and diversifying their offering to include brand marketing, paid social and other web products. They currently represent two of the biggest sports betting content brands in the UK. They run a successful football podcast and have recently acquired a Scottish media business.

The team is distributed remotely as part of their 'remotefirst' culture. They attract people to the business who are ambitious and driven and passionate about building a successful media business.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, every single employee retained their job and full salary.

The Role

They are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, and eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

This is a fully remote role.

Given their explosive growth and the incredible opportunity in front of them, they are looking for someone who can help keep the company organised, they need someone who can develop, simplify and control their internal policies. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform a Personal Assistant role for the two founders and senior leadership team, including diary management, booking travel, assisting with organisation.

  • Manage the onboarding process for new starts.

  • Arranging meetings, and minute taking when required.

  • HR tasks - including managing relationships with our outsourced HR company.

  • Basic accounting duties, including updating xero, calculating staff and partner payments, managing staff company credit card usage and helping with payroll.

  • Managing staff holidays allowances.

  • Managing relationships with our legal and insurance partners.

  • Other ad hoc tasks related to the smooth running of the business.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with a desire to continually develop and improve our processes

  • Possess analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Be competent in computer packages including Microsoft Office

  • Experience of being a Personal Assistant role for a C-Suite

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, anticipating the needs of the C-Suite and ensuring smooth operation of associated business activities
