An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright individual to join a Leeds based law firm as an office assistant. The opportunity is for a candidate with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
While no legal experience is required, applicants should have good grades and a good academic record. The ideal candidate will be hard working and have strong administrative and organisational skills. It is essential the individual is confident using the Microsoft computer packages.

The law firm are friendly and innovative and offer excellent progression for people who develop and commit to their work. The firm is particularly busy but offer support and mentoring at all stages.

Similar office support experience is desirable, but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
*As part of the Business Support Team, your duties will vary day to day:
*Front of House
*Meeting and greeting clients
*Preparing refreshments both internally and externally
*Screening incoming calls and enquiries
*Preparing meeting rooms before and after use
*Providing directions to visitors
*Finance
*Assisting with credit control
*Banking cheques
*Producing financial reports
*Filing month/year end reports
*Marketing and Business Development
*Updating social media -tweeting, sharing posts etc.
*Updating website
*Assisting with coordinating company events
*Coordinating and circulating newsletters
*Legal/Admin
*Assisting with scanning, filing and photocopying as required
*Archiving files on completion
*Taking documents to court
*Preparing court bundles for trial
*HR
*Welcoming new starters
*Preparing on-boarding material for new starters/work experience
*Preparing paperwork for annual appraisals and reviews
*Updating company handbook
*Draft bios and job specifications for new starters
*Coordinating office away days etc.
*Organising staff training
*IT
*Troubleshoot minor tech issues
*Escalate unresolvable tech issues to IT helpdesk
*Set up Skype/Conference calls
*Update templates
*Ad hoc Operational
*Managing post incoming and outgoing
*Monitoring/Ordering office supplies
*Managing office deliveries
*Maintain a clear and tidy office environment
*Scheduling internal meetings
*Monitoring of on-going projects to minimise delays
