Our client are an established manufacturer of office furniture. They are looking to employ a Furniture Project Manager to oversee installations and logistics. You will be based from the central London showroom.

Job Summary:

Due to the expansion and continuing sales growth the company is now looking for an experienced and ambitious and 'hands-on’ Project Manager to join the team.

  • Demonstrate a high level of project ownership
  • Communicate project information between all stakeholders, including sales team, clients, fit-out contractors, suppliers and fitters
  • Manage client expectations in a mature and confident manner
  • Monitor fitting teams, including their quality of work, appearance, attitude and be able to deal with any issues calmly
  • Achieve an exceptional understanding of internal and supply partner products within the first 3 months of joining the company
  • Develop a keen grasp of of company systems and procedures within the first 3 months of joining
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of layout drawings and plans

Candidate Profile:

  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel)
  • Presentable and confident when asked to accompany the sales person at sales pitch client meetings
  • Reliable with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Professional attitude to work
  • You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
  • Confident and able to clearly communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Acceptance that the role will involve some out of hours and weekend work

Salary:

  • £40,000 per annum
