Office Assistant

I am currently recruiting for a Post Room Assistant to join an established and well respected company in Ipswich Town Centre.

You will be part of the team providing reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. You will be liaising with a number of clients, visitors and staff, so confident communication skills (both in person and over the phone) is essential.

Responsibilities will include processing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning documents and updating spreadsheets to ensure that records are accurate. You will cover reception when required, ensuring that all visitors are greeted professionally, relaying messages promptly where needed. Other duties include archiving, preparing meeting rooms, opening/closing the office, and general administrative tasks such as photocopying and ordering stationary.

The successful candidate will be a team player who enjoys multi-tasking and supporting the business as a whole. You will be adaptable in busy situations, have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and have recently had experience within an office environment.
