If so ... look no further! REED Business Support is working alongside an exciting company based in the Centre of Newcastle who are looking for an Office Assistant/ Front of House!
They are ideally looking for candidates from a professional services organisation or with experience in a Hotel environment on the front desk!
This role is a full time position working from the hours of 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 5.15pm on a Friday and involves all aspects of general office support.
• Assisting with office moves including furniture removal, relocation of office storage, and the setting up of functions, seminars and staff events
• Assisting with the post, office photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving duties
• Providing refreshments for clients
• Reception cover
• General administration duties to support the office
• Assisting with the general smooth running of the office, ensuring facilities are adequately stocked and all meeting rooms adequately prepped
This role requires a self motivated, highly organised and enthusiastic individual who is willing to work hard in a team environment.
This is a very hands on role, including some heavy lifting.
Good communication skills are essential, as is managing expectations across a wide range of competing needs.
Although this role is not permanently desk based, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess good general IT skills.
Being part of a small team requires a willingness to cover a variety of tasks and work outside core hours on occasion.
Front of House experience in a professional services or hotel environment is desirable.
