Office Administrator- Edinburgh (Penicuik) - Permanent - Salary £18K -£20K + Benefits

Change Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join our Midlothian based client on a Permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Administrator to join a leading Environmental Consultancy providing a high standard of support for the Consultancy.

The Role
Management of office supplies including stationery, kitchen supplies and other regular requirements
Manage all head office courier shipments, parcels, packages and post both incoming and outgoing
Meet, greet and help all visitors in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner
Answer the telephone promptly, clearly introducing the company and ensure efficient transfer of callers
Assist with international business travel and accommodation, consistency of policies, budgets, corporate rates and offsetting our carbon footprint
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of our new integrated IT system
Provide cover for other employees when they are absent
Backup assistance for other teams with document admin (mainly formatting in MS Word).

HR Administration
Back up for administration of starters and leavers, including an effective induction process and exit interviews
Back up for maintenance of holiday log inclusive of annual leave, TOIL and absence
Back up for maintenance of internal timesheet system and weekly timesheet reporting

Other Duties include
Complete Display Screen Equipment (DSE) risk assessments annually - jointly with Office Coordinator
Source cost effective items as identified in DSE assessments - jointly with Office Coordinator
Log any H&S building faults with the Landlord
Other Facilities Management requirements - jointly with Office Coordinator
Management of Fixed Asset register

Essential Skills & Knowledge
Strong customer service experience with effective communication skills
Experience of coordinating and planning travel and accommodation is essential with an emphasis on international travel requirements.
Strong attention to detail
Competent using Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Proactive Team Player

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 - 18.00 pm. 37 hours per week. Flexible working can be considered. The Salary is £18,000 - £20,000 negotiable + Benefits.

This role is offered on an Permanent basis.
