Office Administrator

Nelson Chambers are recruiting for an Office Administrator to join our client in Southend.

This is a fantastic local opportunity, with a reputable firm that offer stability and on going training.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending out going post for the office
  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and data; both internally and externally
  • Photocopying, printing and collation of documents
  • Ensuring office sundries/ refreshments and supplies are stocked and readily available for staff comfort
  • Changing and ensuring safe storage and carriage of the back-up tapes for the server on a daily basis
  • Maintaining an up to date Schedule of utilities and making payment as supervised by accounts manager
  • Updating the drawing rack and filing/storing superseded drawings at offsite storage
  • Liaising with professionals and sites in relation to legal matters
  • Broadly supporting the team administratively
  • Other general and ad-hoc duties as requested


  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours 9am - 5pm
  • Full time | Permanent
  • Salary up to £25,000 p.a
