Office Administrator

If you enjoy administration and like combining that with some project work that would involve dealing with client enquiries then this opportunity could be for you. Due to expansion you will have the chance to develop within this vibrant organisation.

This role covers a whole spectrum of daily tasks in order to support the Office Manager and the Senior Office Administrator in the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of the Office.

The role:

- Be responsible for opening mail, answering telephones and general communications with customer, suppliers and field based staff.
- Ensure all documentation is neatly filed in accordance with filing systems, developing and expanding filing systems as needed.
- Manage supplies required for office running to include stationary, first aid and kitchen etc.
- Help maintain a clean and tidy work place and participate in local office cleaning activities.
- Attain a good understanding of the company’s business systems including SAGE 50 Accounts and Microsoft Applications.
- Support field based staff by arranging occasional travel and hotel accommodation.
- Organising refreshments and sustenance for meetings held across the clients’ two offices.
- Participate in the processing of monthly expenses as generated by the team.
- Accurately log sales enquiries and respond in a timely manner.
- Generate and control sales quotations where required.
- Participate in generation of customer annual support contract renewals and maintain contracts databases.
- Generate documentation for shipments and liaise with couriers / customers.
- Generate and send invoices to customers

Essential Criteria:

- Excellent Communication Skills (Both Verbal and Written).
- A Levels as an educational minimum.
- Understanding of basic Business Terminology.
- Eager to Learn
- A valid clean UK Driving License.

- Some experience of working in administration support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – a good telephone manner is essential.
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent IT Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Adaptable and happy to take on various responsibilities
