Introduction

My client, a successful financial services business, are currently seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their growing team in Torquay on a permanent basis. My client is offering good opportunities for future development. Training will be provided, and structured Continuous Professional Development will be on-going. Duties include:

Responsibilities:

  • To write compliant and correctly formatted letters, inclusive of supporting documents
  • To organise meeting preparation work
  • To collate client information
  • To perform client and product research
  • To provide valuations of client’s affairs
  • Completion of applications and scanning of our records
  • To act as a consultant between the adviser and the client when appropriate
  • To respond to queries on behalf of the IFA
  • To keep client files up to date in line with service levels agreed with clients
  • To support the IFA with managing clients on a daily basis
  • To join meetings and help complete the required documentation
  • To support the IFA and their client bank with paraplanning support
  • Meeting preparation for new sales
  • To perform client and product research through various tools and systems
  • To keep client files up to date
  • Other ad-hoc admin duties when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within a Financial Services administration role
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good Grammar
  • Commitment of self-development
  • A polite and professional demeanour
  • Proactive and forward thinking with a problem-solving attitude
  • A good team player
  • Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to operate and understand a variety of office equipment such as video conferencing equipment, scanners and fax machines

Summary

This role is full time Monday to Friday and would suit an experienced administrator who has worked within a financial services environment.
